NO ONE IS
ABOVE YOU
How to Stop Putting Others on a Pedestal and Start Owning Your Greatness
Are You a People Pleaser?
You put all of your trust into someone you think “knows” better than you or "has something" you lack.
You compulsively submit to people you see as more powerful, attractive, talented, or important than you.
Someone else's interests, hobbies, and priorities overtake your own, or put yours on the back burner.
You push yourself to meet your yoga teacher's expectations despite the persistent pain in your back.
You don't advocate for yourself, you overlook red flags, bulldoze your own boundaries, or accept treatment that you know is harmful or abusive because you feel you cannot speak up.
You pick your outfits based on what you think that special person likes, or choose what you'll have for lunch based on their country of origin instead of what your own tastes dictate.
You obsess over communication with a person you admire. An email or phone call from them cannot wait but must be taken right now, never mind that you’re having dinner with your family.

You’re not stupid and
you’re not weak.
Everyone tells us not to put people on a pedestal, yet no one tells us why we do this or how to avoid it. And the consequences can be devastating to your relationships, your social capital, your long term financial health, to your goals and dreams for your life, to your mental and emotional well being and your sense of self regard.
You would never consciously choose to disempower yourself in this way. That is why trying not to put someone on a pedestal doesn't work. It is a deeply SUBCONSCIOUS process, and so in order to protect and prevent it, we have to work with the root cause of this tendency where it lives: in subconscious mind.
Imagine if You Could
Recognize red flags early and have hard conversations when needed WITHOUT FEAR
Hold people in positions of power accountable through proactive, healthy communication
See all other people as they are, in the fullness of their humanity
Sky-rocket your self esteem and get off the emotional rollercoaster
Develop and own the confidence, the magnetism, the mastery that YOU possess so you can stop over-valuing those traits in others
Make better relationship decisions that are not based on chemistry alone but also factor in character, compatibility, values, reciprocity, and emotional health
See your own goodness as easily as you see it in others

That is exactly what you will learn in this course:
NO ONE IS ABOVE YOU
How to Stop Putting Others on a Pedestal and Own Your Greatness
I will teach you a proven method that addresses the subconscious reasons you put people on pedestals, and bring you onto level ground with everyone in your life!

Perceive misconduct and take it seriously when it occurs instead of looking away

Address red flags directly through healthy communication

Hold people in power accountable when they mess up, and feel empowered to walk away if they refuse to course-correct.
Generosity is a good quality, but self-sacrifice costs you dearly.
And generosity does not have to equal self sacrifice! When you learn to see yourself and treat yourself like YOU are ALSO a person who has feelings, needs, and boundaries that are worthy of being seen and held space for, you learn to take yourself into consideration right alongside others. This is not about being less generous with others; it's about being more generous with yourself. You'll learn that these are not mutually exclusive! You probably just never learned how to advocate for yourself properly so you learned to put others' needs first hoping they would notice your unmet needs eventually and do the same for you. Unfortunately, that is not a healthy or sustainable approach, as you may have noticed.
That sounds like a story worth questioning.
Subordinating to a person in power is in your long term best interest... can you absolutely know that is true?
What is it costing you to put one set of interests ahead of your mental, physical, and emotional health?
What are you assuming you'll get as a result of your sacrifice? Is that guaranteed?
Is it possible that something else could be more true? Is it possible that your boss or mentor would be quite happy to hear from you when you need something different or if you have a boundary, but you're assuming you can't self advocate because you simply do not know how?
Good leaders, the ones worth following, want to be held accountable.
I assure you, fearless self advocacy is a learnable skill, and learning it will improve your whole life.
People will respect you more when you uphold a healthy sense of self consideration.
People will see your value more readily when you yourself are in touch with your gifts.
In the case that it IS true and you're putting up with a toxic situation temporarily in order to meet a specific goal, this work will still be valuable because it will shield you from any long term harmful effects of this experience. Your subconscious mind is programmed through repetition + emotion. Everything we endure programs us, and staying a long time in a dynamic where you're being mistreated makes mistreatment familiar to your subconscious, and this makes you more likely to invest in future dynamics where you're treated the same way.
Absolutely.
Your fear of conflict is rooted in your subconscious programming. That is why conscious efforts to will yourself to be different have probably failed. This course will help you identify the specific roots of those fears, and learn how to take steps to resolve them at the subconscious level once and for all. This will allow you to speak up for yourself and others when needed, just as easily as you'd ask someone to pass the salt across the table at dinner. The process is gentle (no need to dredge up painful memories from the past or your childhood); it's pleasant, effective, and learnable.
That is the least likely scenario outcome.
Most of the time, we are only assuming that the people we admire expect us to conform to their will and their preferences. But in reality, if they're investing in a relationship with you, they probably would really like to know you-- the REAL you. The you that has feelings and needs and limits, hot takes and opinions! By people pleasing and avoiding vulnerability, you are hiding yourself away from being truly seen and known. This is how people end up in long relationships but still feel profoundly lonely.
Trying to show up as the person you think they want you to be only appears to be preserving your connection to them, and it is destroying your relationship to yourself. That is why you feel so lonely sometimes!
People connect through vulnerability.
People fall in love with vulnerability!
But of course, vulnerability has to feel safe. And you may need to work through your fears more deeply in order to arrive there.
AND, yes. There is a chance that when you allow yourself to be genuinely seen and known, this will reveal incompatibilities between you and the person you have on a pedestal. It may change your view of them, it may change their view of you. One thing I promise you: if your authenticity causes you to lose relationships, then those relationships were costing you more than they were giving. Worst of all, avoiding authenticity keeps us too long in the wrong relationships. The years you spend investing in the wrong relationship dynamics are years you'll never get back.
It is possible to grieve these lost connections well, and to extract the powerful lessons from them that will serve you the rest of your life, and keep your resentment tank on empty.
That is why it is important to build yourself up from the deepest possible place: in your subconscious mind. Not with empty affirmations or occasional shopping sprees... but by letting the very things you admire in the person you have on the pedestal serve as beams of light that you can learn to angle and tilt within yourself so you can clearly see and own those very same qualities, to the very same degree, perhaps just in a form you were not recognizing before.
The goal isn't to
stop admiring people.
The goal is to recognize that YOU are also a person worth admiring!
This course will help you
Stop outsourcing your power to people who seem larger than life
and start building a relationship with yourself that is so grounded, so secure, and so deeply respectful that you can appreciate the beauty in others without losing sight of your own.
